In Acts 2:38-47 we find people who have made a commitment to follow Jesus “being devoted to the apostles’ teaching, the fellowship, breaking of bread and prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”
In Colossians 3:16, we also see the early church instructed to “let the word of Christ dwell in them richly as they teach and admonish one another with all wisdom and as they sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in their hearts to God.”
Each week 6-20 people of all ages meet at various times in homes, businesses, and other locations to be the church. Children of all ages are included and celebrated in these fellowships.
